My latest confession, as promised, will be released over the next four days, a few episodes at a time, starting today. It all happened at the UK Fetish Awards…

As some of you enjoy reading about my unceasing embarrassment, as I blunder my way through London’s liminal cultures, I have chosen to share with you how a deep existential crisis was perpetuated by an unexpected erection on meeting the wonderful Miss J. Hyde at The UK Fetish Awards. However, I was disappointed to learn later on her web-site that Miss J. Hyde ‘doesn’t suffer fools’.

Naturally, as a fool, I intend to make a special plea on behalf of fools, and have gathered together all the powers of my dunce-like wits to gently persuade her to reconsider.

I think it’s both foolish of me to attempt to do so - because she won’t listen to a fool, and foolish of her to have this zero-tolerance of fools - because you’ll never know what you won’t learn from them.

It's terribly problematic. What do I do? Can you help?

If you think about it, it’s also pretty foolish of me to waste my time on adding the scrupulous academic footnotes about fools because no one will ever read them but me.
